A person does not die when he stops breathing,
But when it ceases to be remembered
The Angel Pedraza football school is based on the knowledge, skills and experience that Ángel has received in the learning process since "La Masia", as a player of FC Barcelona, as well as the principles that throughout his life have followed him as a soccer player.
The idea of Angel was to create in the neighborhood of La Marina his own football team for the children of humble families. This objective was largely limited by contractual obligations to several soccer teams until the moment of his death, which with the support of friends and family decided to make this idea a reality (2011).
Thanks to the support of the children and parents of "La Marina" neighborhood, the school began its successful existence. Over the years, new programs have been included, improving the concept of training which has had an impact on the number of athletes who make up this football school.
The philosophy of Ángel Pedraza's soccer school is very different from that of other schools, where in addition to respect for others, other important aspects of the lives of young people are trained such as patience, work capacity, tenacity and sacrifice. These aspects are fundamental not only in the sports but also in the achievement of the objectives of life.
This school is conducted in parallel with the fundamental studies of any child, promoting progress in other areas and activities that young athletes have to carry out to obtain a high quality education. The methodology used is not based on the objective of achieving the result at any price, there are principles that are ahead of said result.
The trainings are performed in order to gain control of physical preparation, technical skills of the child and in turn, with the coach's support that contributes to the team's sense of unity, self-confidence and personal and sports satisfaction for the boy.
